2023 RGC Opening Day
Members & Guests,
The golf course will open for play on Wednesday, April 5, at 8:00am. The tee time reservation system will go live on Monday, April 3, at 9:00am. At that time, you may begin to book as many as seven days out, online, by phone or in person. Please do not call the pro shop prior to 9:00am Monday.
Beginning Tuesday April 4, the in-season seven day advanced reservation procedures will be in place. Members may go online, call or walk in beginning at 6:30am. Guests may begin booking at 8:00am
If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, try to do so prior to Wednesday so things will be less hectic the first week of play.
Thank you, and looking forward to a great 2023 season!
2023 Membership Update
Greetings Members and Guests,
The golf shop opened March 18, for both renewals and new memberships. Details can be found on the website: 2023 Memberships
Returning members must present their 2022 card in order to avoid the $5 lost card replacement fee. The shop will be open every day from 9-3 until the course opens for play in April. If you played at Ridgefield as a guest in the past, consider a membership, it may save you money.
Hopefully, everyone liked the bright new tee signs that were installed in 2022. We still have a few holes that remain unsponsored. If you run a small business, our tee sign program is a great way to advertise your business. We offer industry exclusivity, so contact the course if interested.
This Spring we are offering 2 new Ladies golf clinics. You can see details on the website. Ladies Spring Clinics
Summer Junior Golf Clinics are filling up fast. Details are available on the website. Junior Golf Clinics.

2023 Membership and Rates
Members and Guests,
Those who played at the course in 2022 hopefully recall that we held rates flat from 2021. Revenues were up in 2020 and 2021 and we felt a zero price increase was a nice way saying thank you to our loyal members & guests for their support.
We are, however, going to implement a rate increase for the 2023 season. The main economic drivers that necessitate this are the cost of fuel, pesticides, and fertilizer. Some of the products we use have doubled in price in just a couple years.
The other main spike in our operating costs is the minimum wage. In 2019 the minimum wage in CT was $10.10. In June of 2023 it goes to $15.00 Because all of our starters, rangers, pro shop staff and cart/range kids are paid hourly, we accrue over 16,000 hours annually.
In simple terms, all of our daily green fees have been moved up by $2. Riding cart fees are also up $2. If you play 18 holes and ride, you will pay $4 more than you did in 2022.
Since platinum memberships carry a $0 greens fee, the cost of platinum memberships is up $100. The cost of silver and gold memberships remain the same. 2023 rates have been posted on our website. 2023 Rates
We plan to begin membership sales and renewals on Saturday, March 18. Pro shop hours will be daily from 9-3 until the course opens in early April. 2023 Memberships
Looking forward to a great season in ’23!
