Our reservation system is 100% email based. This means that every reservation, adjustment or cancellation is accompanied by an instantaneous confirmation sent to the email on file. Members and guests are responsible for ensuring that your email on file is correct.
Please Note: If you do not receive an email confirmation immediately after booking online, your name will NOT appear on the tee sheet. This means that you did not complete the online reservation properly. Insisting that you booked online without being able to produce the email confirmation is invalid. Remember, there are no online cancellations.
All reservations, adjustments and cancellations made by phone will also produce an email confirmation. The responsibility of the course is to make every attempt to accurately book, adjust and cancel reservations. On rare occasions mistakes are made in the shop for a variety of reasons. If you receive a confirmation for the wrong day or time, call us immediately so we can correct the error.
If you do not receive an email confirmation, you do NOT have a tee time. If you do not have an email cancellation your name is STILL on the tee sheet, and you are responsible for the greens fee. We apologize in advance that you may have to call the shop a second time, however, members and guests are responsible for making sure they receive email confirmations, and we are committed to keeping mistakes to the barest minimum. Insisting that you called to cancel without an accompanying email is invalid.
Our cancellation policy is quite simple. We require 24-hour notice to cancel or reduce the number of players on your reservation. If you cancel or reduce your group inside 24 hours, we will make every effort to fill the vacancy. If we cannot, we will charge the associated greens fee(s) at check in. The pro shop staff are seasonal part-time workers. As such, they are not authorized to waive the policy, nor should they be asked to consider the validity of your late cancellation/short show on a case-by-case basis. Pay the extra fee(s). In addition, we do not accept voicemail or contact email for bookings or cancellations.
We do not allow singles to book online. If you call the shop, we will book a single into an existing reservation of 2 or 3 players. If you book 2 spots online and show up alone, it might be assumed that you are trying to work around the rules, and you will be charged the second greens fee.
The time associated with your reservation is NOT an arrival time, it is a departure time. If your reservation is 8:00, you are expected to be paid and checked in with the starter at 7:50. The fourth ball should be in the air at 8:00. If you walk into the shop at 7:56 claiming to be on time, you are considered late and the starter may send out the group behind you if they are ready.
One of the core regulations at RGC is that only registered players are allowed on the course. We do not allow “ride-alongs” or non-players on the course. Everyone needs a dated greens fee receipt and a bag of clubs. If two people wish to share clubs, we will supply you with an empty bag to divide the clubs. Please do not arrive at the course and ask to bring non-players onto the course with you. The age limit for unaccompanied Juniors is 13. A group of juniors all age 12 or below is not allowed, without special permission.
